Mr. Ramirez attended UCLA with a major in Physics and a minor in Mathematics, and began his teaching career in 1973. He teaches mathematics and physics, and is the MESA and the Mayo Club Advisor. Like most of his students, Roberto came to the U.S. from Mexico. He attributes his view of America as the land of dreams to his father. He said, “America stands for hope and it allows each individual to believe in yourself. It is our mission to inspire each student to create his or her dreams, understand their dreams, and then take the steps necessary toward achieving them.”
